Nearly 1,000 people packed into Badger Farm Community Centre in Winchester on Sunday, August 2, for the event, which attracted collectors and fans of all ages from across the county. The convention was organised by CW Events Hampshire in partnership with South Coast Card Co, and featured 38 vendors offering everything from Pokémon and sports cards to memorabilia and trading card games. Claire Walker, event director, said: "What a fantastic event, nearly 1,000 people through the door, 38 vendors and what a buzz." Visitors travelled from across Hampshire and beyond to buy, sell, and trade cards, meet fellow collectors, and browse rare items. Organisers said the collector community continues to grow in popularity, with trading card games and collectables attracting people of all ages. South Coast Card Co said the event was designed to bring the community together to share collections, discover new cards, and celebrate a hobby that continues to attract new fans. With the venue filled with collectors throughout the day and stalls busy from opening to close, organisers said it delivered exactly "a vibrant celebration of trading card culture and collecting" they had hoped for. The strong attendance has given organisers confidence that Hampshire Collector Con could become a regular fixture on the county's events calendar.
